o Coaching

o 10 Step Coaching Process (JH)– The 10 Steps of Coaching were

developed by Coach Hughes. He has dedicated almost 40 years of

experience researching and developing these practices. Many people can

do something or know something well, but that doesn’t mean they can

coach. Coaching is an art and is so much more than a title.

o Learning Styles- Understanding different learning styles helps you better

coach, teach, and lead. We tend to teach the way we learn. However, our

team members don’t necessarily learn the way we do. During this session,

you will discover your learning style. Then, we will give you the tools with

recommended strategies to understand your teams’ learning styles.

Ultimately, our goal is to help develop you into a conscientious leader so

the time you spend coaching and training is effective and rewarding.

o 7 C’s of Coaching –These are tried-and-true practical actions that every

coach should learn and incorporate into their team model. Coach Hertling

and Hughes will lead the discussion.

8:00-8:30 Pre-Meeting – practice sprinkling, wrapping, & slicing

8:30- 12:00 AM

o Customer Experience

o Peter’s 7 Principles (JH) These are the seven principles that Peter Cancro

developed to evaluate your store’s operations and ensure you deliver the

ultimate customer experience. Decades ago, Peter groomed his first

generation of team members to live and work by his philosophy, and we

continue to employ them today. Today, we use these principles to

evaluate every Jersey Mike’s.

o Game Film- Operational Excellence & Experience (JH, CS)– We will teach

you how to evaluate a piece of Game Film taken at the Training Center

where attendees role- played crew and customers. Watching and

analyzing game film helps you identify strengths and weaknesses in your

operations. Together, we will develop strategies to improve processes

and deliver results that exceed expectations.

12:45- 5:00 PM

o Sales Building

o Game Film – Customer Experience Excellence - We will review the same

like to make it fun and engaging, making it easier not only to learn but

even more critical, giving you the ability to teach it to your team members.

o Personal P&L – Continuing to develop ourselves and those we lead; we

will review a great and easy way to teach personal finance and

responsibilities.

Thursday, Day 4:

Profitability & Team Building (cont.)

Assessment that will provide the user with the potential cause of Food
